Flowers Galleries
This gallery was shot on May 11th, 2008 at Ellwanger Gardens off Mt. Hope Ave. in Rochester, NY. All shots were taken with a Pentax A 50mm f2.8mm 1:2 Macro lens or the legendary Tokina AT-X 90mm f2.5 Macro lens. Obviously they are two of my favorites, even if it can be argued the bokeh of the Pentax 50mm is a little weak.

These shots were all taken using a Pentax *ist DS fitted with my favored SMC-A 50mm f2.8 Macro lens. All captures were post-processed in C1. Ironically, all my best shots were of pansies. It's also hard to believe I was caught in a thunderstorm minutes later. Thankfully Lowepro's Nova 2 AW bag lives up to its reputation!

Spring is finally here and the flowers are out! Here are several shots of the tulips around my building. These were all taken with my trusty Pentax-A SMC 50mm f2.8 Macro. This has been and will be one of my favorite lenses! Note that the first six shots are straight from camera JPEGs, and the remainder are PEFs postprocessed in Capture On ...
